Experienced caregivers and childcare professionals play an important role in supporting children’s daily routines, learning activities, and supervised care at SUNNY CENTER TOOELE DAYCARE. Staff members work with children across different age groups while helping maintain a structured and consistent childcare environment, and many either hold or are pursuing degrees in childcare-related fields. At least one staff member is always required to maintain current CPR and First Aid certification, while kitchen staff and cooks follow food safety requirements, including obtaining Food Handler permits.
Team members complete annual training requirements and undergo criminal background checks as part of childcare operations and supervision standards. Substitutes and volunteers may assist with supervising children and participating in activities after completing pre-service training and background screening requirements. Additional training may also be required for individuals working extended weekly hours within the center.
